MERLOT is an amazing resource. It is a open collection of peer reviewed higher education materials. Unlike subscription databases, this is free and available to anyone with an internet connection. Libraries should take a look at adding this to their lists of available resources. In this economy of budget strapped libraries, a free resource could be invaluable.
